Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy uses essential oils extracted from flowers, stems, leaves, roots, or fruits of plants and trees to treat emotional disorders such as stress and anxiety as well as a wide range of other ailments. Oils are inhaled, massaged into the skin in diluted form, added to natural products or placed in baths.

Aromatherapy is often used in conjunction with massage therapy, acupuncture, reflexology, herbology, chiropractic and other holistic treatments. It restores the general balance of the body, normalizes the psychical condition, controls the blood circulation, boosts concentration, self-confidence and working efficiency.The properties associated with aromatherapy ingredients include calming, soothing, invigorating and stimulating effects.

Many groups of natural products can be used for aromatherapy if they contain enough essential oils.
